Carpet Cleaning FAQs
Q. What is the best type of carpet or rug to purchase?
A.For durability the best kind of carpet or rug to choose would be one made of natural fibres like animal hair or wool, but these are also the most expensive. Considering that fashions change, it would be more prudent to purchase a carpet made of synthetic fibres that can still last a long time and, by the time it has worn out, the fashions will have changed anyway.
If you are looking for real longevity then it is best to choose a natural fibre carpet and choose a design which is retro so you don’t have to worry about it going out of fashion.
Q. What carpet maintenance is required?
A. To keep dust mites and other allergens such as pollen down to a minimum, it is advisable to regularly vacuum your carpet. Domestic carpet vacuums will only remove a percentage of the dust and mites so it is essential to get your carpets regularly cleaned by a professional to ensure the health and well-being of you and your family and to keep the carpet looking good for many years to come.
